Today I had a training to attend in a low income neighborhood near a school that is connected to a church that I go to sometimes. (I know, long intro.)
I called the school and said, "Hey, I make hula hoops that are bigger and stronger than the kind from the toy store. Could I bring some for the kids?"
"That would be great!" the man said.
Today when I pulled up in the rain and walked to the school with the hoops over my shoulder, the front door opened and a little kid said, "Hey! You've got a lot of hula hoops!" And the kids in the front hall waiting out of the rain swarmed around me and the man I talked to on the phone came out of the office with a big grin. (EVERYONE smiles around hula hoops.) I handed them over and told him I would bring more.
"Thank you! Thank you!" the kids said as I walked back out into the rain.
I want every day to be World Hoop Day.

It never gets old hearing about the love strewn about.
It's inspiring too. When means are there, I'd like to hit the local schools/community centers.
