On World Hoop Day 2008 (08/08/08) Let's have gatherings all across the nation trying to break the world record for number of people hulahooping at the same time.
...Let's make it reality...
According to the World Record Book...
Simultaneous Hula-Hooping
The record for simultaneous hula-hooping (minimum time: 2 minutes) is for 2,290 participants at Chung Cheng Stadium in Kaohsiung (Taiwan) on 28 October 2000

that's kind of a goal with WHD... by 12 12 12 I want everyone in the world to be hooping at 12 GMT and on each hour accordingly around the world... so nyc would be 7pm, CA would be 5pm etc...
The only way to confirm this is to get video and like Live Earth, simultaneously broadcast live on the web/tv/billboards, etc.
I KNOW it can happen. Even for 30 seconds.
